OUR SERVICES
We perform UK CAA aviation medicals including Class 2 initials and renewals/revalidations, cabin crew medicals and AME consultations. We offer most services in-house including ECG, audiometry, spirometry, finger-prick blood tests and urine tests. Please check this website soon for updates on Class 1 medicals and additional locations. In addition, we also offer private Ophthalmology services including clinic consultations, cataract surgery, and formal reports for relevant aviation authorities.
OUR MISSION
We aim to provide a service that is both flexible and accessible, and remain committed to providing timely and clear communication both during and outside the medical assessment process. Our focus is to do our utmost to help you maintain your licence and that every examination is conducted to the highest standards as required by the relevant authority, while keeping costs transparent and reasonable. In addition we have set up our practice with streamlined processes in place to minimise administrative delays and get you flying as expeditiously as possible.
OUR CLIENTS
Our services are available to all indvidual pilots requiring Class 2 medicals and cabin crew. We also conduct AME consultations to those that require advice on a medical issue they encounter in between medical assessments. We also cater for individuals, both in the aviation world and outside, that require Ophthalmology assessments.
ABOUT
Mark is a UK CAA–accredited Aviation Medical Examiner, AME in Teesside, providing Class 2, LAPL and cabin crew aviation medicals for private pilots and cabin crew. His clinic caters for crew across the North East of England, including Scotland, Newcastle, Humberside, and North Yorkshire.
As a Teesside-based AME, Mark conducts CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) aviation medical examinations for initial and renewal/revalidation aeromedical assessments, supporting pilots and cabin crew at all stages of their flying careers. His background as an active commercial pilot ensures a practical, crew-focused approach to aviation medicals.
Mark is also a Consultant Ophthalmologist, offering specialist expertise in visual standards and complex eye-related medical issues. He completed his undergraduate medical training in Malta, followed by specialist training in the UK. He then completed the Basic and Advanced Courses in Aviation Medicine at King’s College London and undertook his AME training at a UK CAA-approved Aeromedical Centre in London.
